Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a field-focused role in Dallas, Texas, where you will support customers through hands-on service work on High Voltage Gas-Insulated Switchgear and related equipment. This position requires on-site technical support for project execution across multiple active sites nationwide.

Ideal candidates will have relevant engineering experience and the ability to manage teams and conflicts. The role includes supervision of installation and commissioning activities, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring detailed documentation of site work.

Qualifications

• Candidate must already have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the US.
• Relevant experience in engineering or construction environments, preferably in the power industry.
• Ability to manage teams and conflict situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across all project execution phases.
• Supervise installation and commissioning activities at customer sites.
• Run troubleshooting activities with field personnel and subcontractors.
• Maintain detailed site documentation including operational procedures and performance reports.
