Job summary

Shermco Industries is seeking a NETA Field Service Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and start-up HV systems at customer sites in the region. You will collect data, perform relay and power metering tests, and travel as required.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, NETA certification (or equivalent), and the ability to pass background checks and screenings. Local travel and occasional overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• Travel locally to customer sites with possible overnight stays.
• Minimum 2+ years in switchgear testing and troubleshooting.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and start up low, medium and high voltage systems at customer sites.
• Collect data and perform testing on switchgear, relays and power metering.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to emergencies as needed.
