Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a skilled electrical field technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot and start up high voltage systems up to 500kV, and perform relay calibration and metering data collection.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of relevant experience, and NETA certification preferred. Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel locally and overnight while prioritizing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Electrical Power or equivalent training preferred.
• NETA Certification (III/IV) highly preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and high voltage electrical systems up to 500kV.
• Test instrument transformers and relays; perform power metering and calibration.
• Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches and switchgear/circuit breakers.
• Travel locally and overnight as required; maintain safety standards and teamwork.
