Zusammenfassung

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an experienced electrical power technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data on high and medium voltage electrical systems up to 500kV. You will perform transformer and relay tests, ATS troubleshooting, and cable testing while ensuring safety and high-quality results.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to travel locally/overnight, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or military equivalent in Electrical Power preferred.
• NETA certification II or higher preferred.
• OSHA 30, MSHA, NFPA 70-E training preferred.

Aufgaben

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and data collection on HV electrical systems up to 500kV.
• Test instrument transformers and relays; troubleshoot ATS.
• Perform cable testing (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot).
• Operate and test low, medium and high voltage switchgear and circuit breakers.
• Contribute to a safe team environment and follow electrical safety procedures.
