Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis is seeking a Utilities / High Voltage Electrician / Instrumentation to service, troubleshoot and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems across campus utilities, including high voltage gear and process instruments.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance of 13.8 kV gear, motor starters, PLCs, instrument calibration, and reading P&ID drawings; ensure cGMP compliance with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience with 4160V (4.16kV) systems preferred.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with instrument calibration and basic instrumentation tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on high and low voltage electrical equipment (13.8KV gear, breakers, relays, motor starters).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical equipment problems to minimize downtime.
• Perform modifications and new installations of electrical equipment and process instrumentation.
• Read P&ID drawings and schematics; ensure cGMP compliance and proper documentation.
• Document work following Good Documentation Practices.
