Job summary

Lilly Manufacturing, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks an Industrial Electrician to service, troubleshoot and maintain equipment across utilities systems including instrumentation, electrical, high-purity water, steam, and glycol. You will ensure safe, reliable operations and support multiple maintenance crafts.

Qualified candidates have at least three years of relevant experience, read P&ID drawings, and are proficient with CMMS tools like Maximo.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of relevant work experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; Lilly will not sponsor visas.
• Experience maintaining equipment in an industrial utilities environment.
• Experience with high purity water, compressed air, steam, chilled water, glycol is advantageous.
• Ability to read, interpret and work from electrical schematics, prints, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on medium voltage electrical equipment (e.g., 13.8KV switch gear, circuit breakers).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical equipment problems and make repairs to minimize downtime.
• Perform modifications and new installations of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Diagnose and repair complex electrical problems to restore operation.
• Document all work following Good Documentation Practices.
