Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a skilled Metal Stamping Press Operator in Gastonia, NC to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, program, troubleshoot high-tonnage stamping presses and produce parts that meet engineering specs and customer requirements.

You will interpret blueprints and manufacturing documents, assist with machine setups, and perform quality inspections while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of machining, metal fabrication, stamping, or related manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in blueprint reading, GD&T, precision gaging, and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment, perform quality inspections, and use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate high-tonnage metal stamping presses to manufacture production parts.
• Assist with machine setups, minor program adjustments and quality inspections.
• Interpret blueprints and manufacturing documents to meet specifications; maintain a clean work area.
