Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Scientist to expand high-throughput biologics production. This hands-on role will execute scalable protein expression, purification, normalization, and quality control to enable antibody and multispecific discovery programs.

You will work with Protein Sciences, Molecular Biology, Automation, Data Science, and project teams to align production with program timelines. Strong experience in mammalian protein production and automation is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, bioengineering, structural biology, molecular biology, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or a master's with 3+ years; or a Ph.D. with no extra experience.
Hands-on experience with protein expression and production workflows in mammalian systems.
Experience with transient mammalian expression using HEK293/CHO systems.
Experience with protein purification technologies and quality assessment methods.
Strong cloning and high-throughput DNA fragment generation skills.
Ability to independently design experiments, analyze data, and maintain accurate docs.

Responsibilities

Execute high-throughput protein production workflows for antibody, multispecific, and other biologics discovery programs.
Design, optimize, and troubleshoot transient mammalian expression workflows at micro- and mid-scale.
Perform automated purification, sample normalization, and quality assessment of proteins.
