Job summary

Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine seeks a Simulation Specialist to support educational, technical and operational needs of all simulation programs in Sewell, NJ. The role includes developing and delivering simulation and clinical procedure instruction, conducting debriefings, and assisting with assessment activities across the curriculum.

Qualifications

• 3+ years clinical experience in healthcare (required).
• 2+ years of experience in medical simulation (preferred).
• Experience in higher education and medical education (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (required).

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and implement high-tech simulation instruction and assessment with faculty collaboration.
• Program and operate a full range of simulator technologies and equipment.
• Instruct, debrief, and evaluate students; participate in assessments.
• Prepare and restore simulation environments and maintain fidelity.
• Provide faculty development and training on simulation technologies.
• Train and supervise per diem staff supporting simulation activities.
