Job summary

Apple is seeking talented Analog Mixed-Signal designers to join the high-speed SerDes team. You will develop AMS circuits for SerDes PHYs, evaluating topologies and delivering high-performance IPs for Apple's SOCs.

You will collaborate with architecture, SIPI, packaging, board design and DFT to drive layout supervision, calibration and characterization, ensuring quality and innovation across products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Deep knowledge of analog mixed-signal design and high-speed serial links.
• Experience with bandgap, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, amplifiers, comparators and switched-cap circuits.
• Understanding of timing, mismatch mitigation, linearity, low-noise techniques.
• Experience with digitally assisted analog design concepts (e.g. background calibrations).

Responsibilities

• Develop AMS circuits for SerDes PHY blocks with high power, performance and area efficiency.
• Evaluate and select topologies for Rx/Tx, clock generation and calibration.
• Collaborate with architecture, SIPI, packaging, board design, DFT and SOC teams.
• Model and simulate using SystemVerilog, Matlab and Python; drive layout supervision and mask design.
• Present progress and results to peers and management, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
