Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Production Technician for our Williamsburg, VA facility. You will be part of a production crew, following SOPs and safety standards while observing 12-hour shifts on a 4-on/4-off rotation with day and night cycles.

The role requires mechanical troubleshooting ability, use of hand and power tools, and hands-on maintenance of high-speed equipment to meet production goals. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
