Job summary

Ball Corporation in Monticello, Indiana, seeks a Production Technician to join a production crew and support plant goals by operating and maintaining high-speed equipment per SOPs. You will work on-site, follow 5S and safety protocols, and assist with preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in a mechanical role with troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
