Job summary

Ball Corporation in Fairfield, CA is hiring a Production Technician to join a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing team. You will observe SOPs, follow 5S standards, and work under a supervisor in a 12 ¼-hour shift cycle (4 days on, 4 days off) with day/night rotation every 7 weeks.

Responsibilities include operating, adjusting and repairing high-speed equipment, performing preventive maintenance, inspecting aluminium to quality specs, and collaborating closely with your team while upholding

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
