Job summary

IMKO is seeking dependable and mechanically inclined individuals to fill Packaging Associate positions for a manufacturing facility in Jefferson City, MO. The role involves operating high-speed packaging equipment, monitoring production, and ensuring quality.

Shifts are rotating 12-hour days and nights with a starting pay of $20 per hour. This on-site role includes weekly pay, benefits, and time off, emphasizing safety and accurate line reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of consistent experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically active throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test and 7-year background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-speed packaging equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Perform regular quality checks on product weight and appearance.
• Adjust controls as needed to keep production within set standards.
• Identify and clear minor equipment issues or product jams.
• Complete necessary documentation and line reporting.
• Retrieve and load packaging materials as required.
• Follow safety procedures and report any issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
