Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is hiring a Production Associate I for day and night shifts in Chillicothe, MO. The role involves operating and tending packaging lines, inspecting parts, and ensuring accurate packing and labeling.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and comply with safety policies. Applicants should read, write, and communicate effectively, with prior packing/warehousing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in packing/warehousing preferred; not required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate verbally.
• Ability to work quickly with high quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve parts from machine and inspect for defects.
• Place parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Report non-conforming parts to machine operator.
• Pack good products in cartons and seal.
• Tend machines such as trim press and pack station parts handling equipment.
• Cut and stack sheet when needed.
• Grind sheet and trays as needed.
• Build and stage all packaging material per product spec.
• Fill out label and flow bills correctly.
• Use pallet jacks to move skids of product in warehouse.
• Assist operator when starting line.
• Help train new employees when necessary.
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and company policies.
• Other duties as requested by Supervisor.
