Job summary

BioMerieux Inc. in Missouri seeks a Production Technician I to operate high-speed equipment for VITEK 2 card production and packaging in a cGMP environment. Responsibilities include setup, operation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation for batches, AQLs, and reworks.

Must have 1 year in FDA-regulated manufacturing or related GMP experience. Willingness to learn SAP, perform calculations, and ensure quality and safety in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute production activities per approved Manufacturing Directions.
• Ensure batch records are completed accurately and timely.
• Execute validation protocols for equipment and procedures.
• Assist in reviewing/managing Manufacturing Directions and SOPs.
• Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment using HMI/SCADA.
• Manage materials, fork truck operation learning, and housekeeping.
• Follow cleaning procedures to maintain manufacturing areas.
• Set up equipment to defined tolerances for on-time runs.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Maintain organized work areas per cGMP requirements.
• Perform work in compliance with quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
