Job summary

BioMérieux Inc. in Durham, NC seeks a Manufacturing Technician to operate high-speed, highly automated equipment in a cGMP environment. You will run production and packaging processes, complete batch records, and help maintain equipment per SOPs.

Responsibilities include setup, maintenance, quality checks, and data capture for process improvement. The role requires adherence to regulatory standards and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification in a Bioworks Program or equivalent preferred.
• Bioworks, LEAN or other Continuous Improvement Certificate preferred.
• Work experience accepted in lieu of a degree is not allowed.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment via HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Follow approved Manufacturing Directions and SOPs.
• Complete batch paperwork accurately and timely.
• Assist with setup, inspection, maintenance, cleaning of equipment.
• Perform AQL inspections, reworks, and material reconciliation.
• Train teammates on production processes and procedures.
• Generate reports and KPI data to identify problems and enable decisions.
