Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Manufacturing Tech 1 (Service) to operate high-speed, highly automated equipment in our BacT/ALERT manufacturing and packaging lines. The role involves batch production, documentation, and supporting process improvements while maintaining strict cGMP compliance.

Responsibilities include setup, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning, and data recording, with emphasis on quality and regulatory adherence. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Regulated production/operations experience preferred.
• OSHA, FDA/GMP knowledge preferred.
• Must work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and potentially overnight.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment, often highly automated, via HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Complete production batches and associated documentation in a cGMP environment.
• Assist with setup, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and cleaning of equipment.
• Review and revise Manufacturing Directions and SOPs as needed for manufacture and packaging.
• Support deviation analyses and CAPA actions and monitor process equipment quality concerns.
