Job summary

AMD is seeking a candidate for the analog/mixed-signal IP design team in San Jose, CA. You will contribute to the design and development of next-generation IOs, memory interfaces, and proprietary PHY IP solutions, establishing leadership in analog circuit architecture.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, hands-on design experience in multi-Gbps serial and memory interfaces, and a track record of bringing AMS designs to production. A MS or PhD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent experience in technical settings.
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Academic credentials: MS or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• High Speed IO/SerDes AMS circuit architecture and design.
• Translate system specs to AMS block/circuit level specs with System/Platform & SOC architects.
• Author AMS block circuit specs, pre-silicon verification, and post-silicon validation test plans.
