RTX (Raytheon) in McKinney, TX seeks a Digital Electrical Engineer II to design and develop next-gen circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and FPGA-based solutions using AMD, Altera, and Microchip architectures. You will work in an agile, cross-functional environment across hardware, systems, and software teams from concept to production.

The role requires a Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM and experience with HDL, test equipment, and embedded processing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM; degree must be obtained by start date.
• Experience or coursework with Digital Electronics, Circuit Design/Analysis, Digital Design, or HDL coding targeting configurable logic devices.
• Experience using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs) for characterization, debugging, and validation.

Responsabilités

• Develop and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations targeting configurable logic devices.
• Model digital algorithms, partition design functions, and write high-reliability code for embedded processing systems.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and collaborate on physical layout and routing.
• Integrate and validate hardware designs in a laboratory environment using advanced test instrumentation against rigorous system requirements.
• Maintain design documentation, technical reports, and configuration management artifacts through the product lifecycle.
• Support engineering activities from initial customer requirements to formal production release.
