Job summary

RTX is seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer II to design and develop next-generation circuit card assemblies and FPGA-based solutions. You will work on mission-critical applications across RF, EO DSP, and processor interfaces, in an agile cross-functional team with systems, mechanical, and software engineers.

You will participate from architectural concepts to hardware integration and production release, leveraging architectures like AMD, Altera, and Microchip, and also work within security

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with digital electronics, circuit design, and HDL coding.
• Proficiency with test equipment for circuit characterization, debugging and validation.
• Experience through work, projects, or coursework.

Responsibilities

• Design and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations targeting configurable logic devices.
• Model digital algorithms, partition design functions, and write high-reliability embedded code.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and collaborate on layout and routing.
• Integrate and validate hardware designs in a lab environment with advanced test instrumentation.
• Maintain design documentation, technical reports, and configuration management artifacts throughout the lifecycle.
• Support engineering activities from customer requirements through production release.
