Job summary

Cass Information Systems, Inc. in Columbus, OH, is seeking a scanner operator to work in a fast-paced mailroom environment. You will operate an IBML high-speed scanner, choose the correct process for each job, feed documents, and ensure legible images of invoices.

You will troubleshoot software and hardware, perform quality checks, and route scanned work to Data Entry while keeping the area neat and efficient. overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in production oriented processing environment preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate IBML high-speed scanner and select correct process for each job.
• Feed documents into scanner, ensure proper alignment, doc number imprint, and readability of invoices.
• Troubleshoot software, mechanical equipment errors and paper jams.
• Quality control of scanned batches.
• Prepare and route scanned work to Data Entry and other departments.
• Inform management of processing issues and equipment problems.
• Communicate with IBML Help Desk on suspected software issues.
• Prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a neat and professional work area.
• Perform other duties and overtime as required.
