Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking a High School Math Teacher for a fully remote position for the 2026–2027 school year. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

EDT, Monday–Friday, with 30–35 hours per week and class sizes around 25–27 students. Curriculum is provided and collaboration with another virtual teacher is expected. Required qualifications include at least 3 years of HS classroom teaching, 2+ years remote teaching, a Bachelor's degree, and a valid High School Mathematics

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience at the high school level.
• Minimum of 2 years of remote/virtual teaching experience.
• Demonstrated expertise teaching Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus - 4 class periods a day with paid planning period.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
• Valid teaching certification in High School Mathematics.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills, including documenting lessons, monitoring student progress, and communicating with parents.
• Ability to effectively engage and support students in a virtual classroom environment.
• Reliable high-speed internet access.
• Reliable computer/device with a working camera and microphone.
• Availability to teach during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. EDT.

• Minimum of 2 years of remote/virtual teaching experience

• Demonstrated expertise teaching Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus- 4 class periods a day with paid planning period

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree

• Valid teaching certification in High School Mathematics

• Strong written communication and documentation skills, including the ability to document lessons, monitor student progress, and grade assignments as well as regular communicate with parents regarding the progress of their student
• Ability to effectively engage and support students in a virtual classroom environment
• Reliable high-speed internet access
• Reliable computer/device equipped with a working camera and microphone
• Availability to teach during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. EDT
