Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking a qualified High School Math Teacher for a fully remote role for the 2026–2027 school year. The position runs Monday–Friday, daytime hours, with an expected 30–35 hours weekly and class sizes of roughly 25–27 students.

You’ll teach Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus with curriculum provided, collaborating with another virtual teacher. Requires 3+ years HS teaching, 2+ years remote teaching, a Bachelor's degree, and HS Math certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience at the high school level (excluding student teaching)
• Minimum of 2 years of remote/virtual teaching experience
• Demonstrated expertise teaching Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus—4 class periods a day with paid planning period
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
• Valid teaching certification in High School Mathematics
• Strong written communication and documentation skills, including documenting lessons, monitoring progress, and communicating with parents
• Ability to engage and support students in a virtual classroom environment
• Reliable high-speed internet access
• Device with working camera and microphone
• Availability to teach during daytime hours Monday–Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. EDT

Responsibilities

• Teach Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus to roughly 25–27 students per class
• Deliver curriculum in a fully remote setting with collaboration from another virtual teacher
• Document lessons and monitor student progress, providing regular updates to parents
• Communicate student progress and needs to families to support learning

Subjects Taught

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in:

Experience teaching all three subject areas is required.

School curriculum is provided along with collaboration with another virtual teacher for course content.
