We are seeking a High School Math Teacher to deliver one-on-one, in-person instruction at Augustine Hills School in Wilmington, Delaware. This role is ideal for educators looking for a part-time, flexible schedule and the opportunity to work one-on-one with students.
You’ll receive a “skeleton” curriculum to guide you, but enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to adapt instruction to each student's unique learning needs and interests. Our goal is to make math engaging, relatable, and fun.
Provide personalized, in-person, one-on-one instruction in high school-level math subject(s).
Develop tailored lesson plans based on student needs and learning styles.
Create an engaging classroom experience that brings math concepts into real-life contexts.
Maintain accurate documentation of lessons, student progress, and grades on a weekly basis.
Collaborate with parents, educators, and administrators as needed.
Adjust instruction techniques to accommodate students with learning differences.
Minimum of 3 years of high school mathematics classroom teaching experience in any math subject (excluding student teaching or tutoring).
Bachelor’s degree required.
Degree in Education or Mathematics.
Experience teaching multiple math subjects to high school students.
Teaching certification.
