Job summary

Harrisonburg City Public Schools is seeking a Temporary High School Testing Support to provide planning, logistical, and proctoring assistance for high school assessments including PSAT, SAT, ASVAB, AP, and SOL. Reports to the Division Director of Testing and High School Testing Coordinator.

The role requires handling secure testing materials, operating TestNav/Bluebook, and supporting accommodations while maintaining a quiet, secure testing environment for students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Must complete state and district test security training.
• Familiar with Virginia SOL and College Board/AP guidelines; ability to learn digital assessment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain test security and confidentiality of materials.
• Assist with inventory, preparation, distribution, collection of testing materials.
• Proctor standardized assessments and monitor for irregularities.
• Launch test sessions on digital platforms and assist with technical issues.
• Support testing accommodations (IEP/504/EL).
