Job summary

Qualifications

• Appropriate state license or certification required.
• Two years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and observe to identify student needs and areas for support.
• Develop lesson plans and integrated plans aligning with IEPs/504.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, psychologists, social workers, and staff.
• Develop and teach engaging lessons for small groups and individuals.
• Implement IEPs and monitor progress, adjusting as needed.
• Communicate progress with parents and other stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation to comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Stay current on special education practices through professional development.
