IDEA Public Schools seeks dedicated teachers for IDEA College Prep to ensure students master academic and social skills for college success. Teachers set ambitious goals, track data, and develop dynamic daily lesson plans, including dual-enrollment and AP/IB opportunities.

Qualifications

• High level content-area proficiency evidenced by teaching certification, field of study, or work experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adjust and adapt to diverse school environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations.
• Deliver content and grade-level curriculum with core objectives.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track progress with assessments and update gradebook weekly.
• Communicate students' progress with students and families on a weekly basis.
• Facilitate and utilize technology to improve student achievement and manage tasks.
