Acceleration Academies is seeking a ScienceContent Coach (Science Teacher) to deliver competency-based content and support personalized learning, guiding students toward graduation and post-secondary success. You’ll work with a collaborative team to provide academic, social-emotional, and career-oriented support, empowering every learner’s journey.

The role emphasizes advising, attendance and progress monitoring, and data-informed instruction in a dynamic, at-risk youth environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Florida 6-12 secondary certification in Biology/Earth Space required.
• Minimum 2+ years of high school teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Support new student enrollment through outreach and engagement.
• Develop individualized learning plans tailored to goals and progress.
• Advise assigned students; communicate with families and staff.
• Monitor attendance and progress toward graduation.
• Deliver subject-area instruction in one-on-one and small groups.
• Track progress toward course completion and mastery.
• Use data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.
• Participate in PD, data meetings, and school events.
