Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of tests and student work.
• Maintain neat and orderly classroom.
• Help with inventory and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain required records and reports for teachers.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Conduct instructional exercises with students; work with individuals or small groups.
• Supervise students during school hours (lunch, bus, playground).
• Inform teachers of student needs or problems.
• Participate in staff development and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance.
