South Bronx United seeks a passionate and dynamic educator to join our team as the full-time High School Program Manager. This person will serve as a key staff member of the SBU Academy, a comprehensive and longitudinal program that serves 190 youth annually, in grades 6-12. Academic programming is held during out of school time (afternoons, evenings, and summer). The Academy program is guided by a comprehensive Student-Athlete Pathway program design that outlines scaffolds and targeted outcomes for each grade level in academic skills, high school and college preparation, social-emotional learning, and competitive soccer. Program staff promote the SBU Values of Showing Commitment, Bringing Integrity, and Uniting our Community in all that we do.
The High School Program Manager manages all programming and works individually with students in grades 9-11, collaborating with our College and Career Success Program Director and Middle School Program Manager to ensure vertically aligned programming. The core responsibilities include curriculum implementation, individual academic advising, training and managing coach mentors and academic mentors, and managing partnerships and events that contribute to a positive student experience and promote high engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
