Job summary

DREAM in New York City is seeking a dedicated Teacher to build strong relationships with students, implement a CCSS-aligned curriculum, and work with grade and support teams to analyze data to drive instruction. You will contribute to a positive school culture and strive to improve student outcomes.

Requirements include a Bachelore2a92s degree and NYS certification preferred, with at least two years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor2a92s degree required.
• NYS certification in subject area preferred.
• 2+ years teaching experience with a record of improving student achievement preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Commitment to the DREAM mission and community.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with students.
• Implement a Common Core-aligned curriculum.
• Collaborate with grade team and student support to analyze data.
• Participate in grade team meetings, Student Support Meetings, IEP Meetings, and professional development.
• Track and monitor academic progress for all students.
• Maintain high expectations and inclusive classroom culture.
• Communicate scholars' progress with families.
• Perform additional duties related to running the school as assigned.
