Job summary

Uncommon New York City Charter Schools seeks a middle school math teacher to join grade-level teams and foster self-guided learners. You’ll teach math using our CCSS-based curriculum and lead students toward academic autonomy in high school preparation.

You will analyze student data weekly with principals and coaches, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with families to support each learner’s goals while engaging in ongoing professional development.

• Willingness to enroll in a teacher preparation program and pursue NY certification.

Responsibilities

• Meet weekly with leadership to analyze student work and differentiate instruction.
• Build positive relationships with students and families and participate in weekly meetings.
