Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field is required.
• New York State teaching certification is preferred.
• At least two years of teaching experience with a track record of improving student achievement is preferred.
• Desire and ability to receive and implement feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with co-teacher to foster high achievement.
• Implement Common Core-aligned curriculum with backwards planning and documented syllabi/lessons.
• Participate in grade team meetings, Student Support Meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development.
• Track and monitor student academic progress and analyze data to inform instruction.
• Communicate student progress in academics, social-emotional, and behavior to families.
