Job summary

The International School of San Francisco is seeking a High School Learning Support Assistant to coordinate testing with accommodations and support the HS team in meeting deadlines. You will help maintain a calm learning environment in the Student Success Center, assist with attendance, and guide substitute teachers on assessment procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational systems.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with educational platforms.
• Ability to interact with adolescents supportively.
• Able to work independently and in a team in a multilingual environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Knowledge of French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with teachers and students to organize, schedule, and supervise testing for accommodations.
• Communicate accommodations to classroom teachers and learning specialists as needed.
• Support accountability for late work and missing assessments with advisors and the Dean.
• Organize testing for missed assessments and ensure test security.
• Provide guidance for substitute teachers on assessment procedures.
• Supervise sessions in the Student Success Center and study halls.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and assist with documentation for accommodations.
