Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions is seeking a dedicated assistant to support teachers in monitoring the learning center and helping students progress. You will assist with lesson plans, assessments, and daily goals under supervision, while fostering a positive classroom environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with students or parents as approved by the district supervisor. Strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or GED
• Experience with students or parents approved by the employing superintendent
• Experience in church-related schools, day camps, youth groups, private schools, licensed day-care centers, or similar experience
• Be a high school student 18+ and have required credits in Chapter 130, Subchapter E (130.164 or 130.165)
• 6+ months of experience working for Public or Private School (preferred)
• Passion for children
• Ability to interact with children with patience
• Familiarity with education laws and basic computer use
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher or Coordinator in all areas of work
• Implement instructional program and lesson plans under supervision
• Assist with understanding assessments
• Assist teachers in checking daily goals to ensure work is being completed
• Motivate students for maximum learning
• Participate in faculty and professional meetings, conferences, and workshops
• Inspire students with consistency, care, and interest to build self-esteem and promote success
• Praise and encourage students to build character
• Facilitate activities promoting speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
