Job summary

Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport. (Major sports)
• The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport.
• Must model appropriate behavior for student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Has thorough knowledge of all athletic policies approved by the Briarcliff UFSD Board of Education and ensures staff adherence.
• Understands the proper administrative line of command and communicates through proper channels.
• Provides guidance to the athletic staff and coordinates with the athletic director and principals.
• Schedules and oversees practice and competition logistics; ensures safety and compliance.
