Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools Park View High School in Sterling, Virginia seeks a Track Assistant Coach for the winter season. The role runs from November to February with duties supporting the head coach and athletic department.

The candidate should have coaching experience at high school or college levels, CPR/First Aid training (or in progress), and ideally a Virginia teaching license or LCPS experience. This is a part-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school or college level.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or in progress.
• Virginia teaching license preferred or full-time classified LCPS experience.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured program.
• Work with the athletic department and attend staff meetings during the season.
• Carry out duties designated by the head athletic coach.
• Recommend equipment and supplies needed for the sports program.
• Suggest disciplinary actions for players violating rules and procedures.
• Foster sportsmanship and pride in the school and community.
• Perform other duties as requested by the principal or athletic director.
