Qualifications

• Eligible for traditional NJ teaching certification; meet GPA and content-credit requirements.
• GPA rules vary by graduation date: post-2016 ≥3.0 or 2.75–3.0 with Praxis pass; pre-2016 ≥2.75.

Responsibilities

• Create, internalize, modify and prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum with grade-level teams.
• Use data to tailor instruction toward mastery of academic skills.
• Collaborate with students, families and colleagues to foster supportive environments.
• Apply effective classroom management techniques to maintain order.
• Assist with diagnostic and progress-monitoring testing across the school.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet objectives.
• Update student performance trackers to guide lesson planning.
• Participate in school, departmental and parent meetings.
• Contribute to school events and activities.
