Kern High School District is seeking a Computer Instruction Technician at East Bakersfield High School. The role supports computer-assisted instructional courses, assists teachers with scheduling and guiding students on terminals, and maintains equipment. Starting salary is $2,559.80 monthly for a 9.4-month term, with a 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. schedule, and daily 7-hour workdays. Regular and substitute openings are noted in the posting.

Formación

• Must possess the skill to train in the maintenance and operation of computer equipment.
• General clerical experience is necessary, and work involving the supervision of high school age students is desirable.
• Completion of twelfth grade is required, preferably supplemented by college level courses.
• Criminal history check will be required of successful candidate prior to employment.

Responsabilidades

• Operate computer-assisted instructional courses under supervision.
• Assist teachers in scheduling, evaluating, and instructing students on terminals.
• Maintain and operate computer equipment and related instructional routines.
• Prepare reports to teachers and counselors; participate in training sessions with computer consultants.
