Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school or college level is required.
• CPR and First Aid training or enrollment is required.
• Preference for LCPS teaching license or full-time classified employee status.
• Preference for Virginia teaching license candidate.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and evaluate all assistant coaches.
• Lead the varsity program, including training, conditioning, and game strategy.
• Collaborate with athletic director on scheduling, staffing, and facilities.
• Promote values of sportsmanship and community pride among athletes and spectators.
• Ensure eligibility, insurance, and proper medical clearances for all athletes.
• Maintain records, statistics, and photographs for the teams under supervision.
