Nutley Board of Education is seeking an Assistant Coach under the supervision of the head coach to lead and oversee all coaching duties for the interscholastic athletic program within the district. Responsibilities include planning practices, coordinating training and game preparation, and communicating effectively with players, parents, and staff while supporting the overall goals of the program.

Certification as a teacher and coaching experience required.
Knowledge of NJSIAA bylaws and regulations.

Responsabilités

Promote the general welfare of the team and help student athletes achieve goals.
Promote philosophies and theologies of the head coach.
Organize and conduct practices, training and competition to prepare for opponents.
Assist in directing all aspects of the football team (defense, offense, and positions).
Coordinate strategic aspects of the program.
Represent the program at events and activities; fund raising and community involvement.
Assist in managing daily operations of the program.
Prepare daily practice regimens to integrate into the team schedule.
Participate in evaluation programs in athletics and academics.
Perform other duties as assigned by principal or superintendent.
