Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, educational leadership, administration or a related field.
• State of Ohio Principal license required (Grades 5-12).
• Five (5) years of licensed teaching experience with Columbus City Schools or a comparable district, and one (1) year of school-based administrator experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day activities of building staff including hiring, training, counseling and evaluating staff performance.
• Assists the Principal in overseeing delivery of academic instruction aligned with district goals.
• Develops the master schedule and class scheduling of students.
• Coordinates interim and quarterly report cards and building testing.
• Maintains safe school environments and coordinates crisis/emergency plans.
