Job summary

Wayland Union Schools is seeking a bowling coach for a season-position role in Michigan. The coach will assist in teaching bowling techniques, promote team building, and uphold MHSAA rules while representing the district professionally to opponents, officials, players, and families.

Work with the Head Coach to plan practices and events, and communicate clearly with parents, staff, and students to ensure a positive, safe, and competitive season for all participants.

Qualifications

• Successful bowling coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge to teach bowling techniques and strategy.
• Ability to represent the Wayland Union District positively and apply MHSAA rules.
• Knowledge of basic first aid.

Responsibilities

• Support the coach in instructing athletes for competition, by teaching technique and promoting team building.
• Represent the Wayland Union District in a positive and professional manner when dealing with opponents, officials, players, parents and spectators.
• Work with Head Coach to schedule practices and events.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff and students.

• Must possess the ability to represent the Wayland Union District in a positive manner and implement MHSAA rules and policies of the Wayland Union Board of Education
• Must possess knowledge of basic first aid
