Job summary

Wayland Union Schools is seeking a seasonal bowling coach to support athletes and work with the Head Coach on practices and events. The role is a Schedule B position, employed through EduStaff unless a current WUEA member, and contingent upon background checks.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in technique and teamwork.
• Represent Wayland Union District positively with opponents, officials, players, parents and spectators.
• Assist Head Coach with scheduling practices and events.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff and students.

Qualifications:

• Successful bowling coaching experience preferred
• Must possess the knowledge and ability to teach bowling techniques and strategy
• Must possess the ability to represent the Wayland Union District in a positive manner and implement MHSAA rules and policies of the Wayland Union Board of Education
• Must possess knowledge of basic first aid

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support the coach in instructing athletes for competition, by teaching technique and promoting team building
• Represent the Wayland Union District in a positive and professional manner when dealing with opponents, officials, players, parents and spectators
• Work with Head Coach to schedule practices and events
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff and students

Terms of Employment:

WUEA Schedule B position, season position only.
Will be employed through EduStaff unless current WUEA member
Contingent upon passing post offer background checks.
