Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is seeking a patient care support role in the High Risk Cardiology unit. You will assist licensed nurses, perform ADLs, monitor vital signs, and help maintain a safe, healing environment for patients requiring complex cardiac care.

The position offers 24 hours per week with day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, rotating holidays, and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED listed under Education.
• Preferred CNA, PCT, EMT or Surgical Tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse and assists with Activities of Daily Living.
• Monitors vital signs and documents patient information for the nursing team.
• Supports patient safety and comfort and ensures supplies and equipment are available.
