Job summary

Greystar is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for The Olivian in downtown Seattle. You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance to keep apartments, grounds, and amenities safe, clean, and functional.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with painting, basic carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• High level of professionalism in manner and dress.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing.
• Access materials from maintenance stores and track inventory.
• Document and file service requests accurately.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist cost-control by using parts efficiently and avoiding waste.
