The Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center is seeking an experienced Building Engineer/HVAC Mechanic to oversee preventative maintenance of complex mechanical systems in a high-rise hotel. You will operate boilers, chillers and BAS equipment while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

We require a self-motivated professional with strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills; weekend and holiday work is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with large building mechanical systems andHVAC equipment.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays and handle on‑call as needed.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on boilers, air handlers, chillers and pumps.
• Monitor equipment performance using BAS and CMMS systems.
• Maintain clean, organized mechanical rooms and report issues promptly.
• Assist with repairs to kitchen and laundry equipment when required.
