Job summary

Consor is seeking a seasoned vertical building construction manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex high-rise projects. You will act as the integrator among owner, Design-Build team, trades, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-schedule, on-budget delivery with quality results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Architectural, or related engineering field.
  • Minimum ten years of experience managing commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, higher education, or high-rise vertical building projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Field job primarily outdoors with exposure to weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazards, and site conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, local building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams while fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensure construction activities are properly integrated across multiple project phases.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with phased occupancy, logistical constraints, and ongoing site operations.
  • Monitor schedule performance and identify critical path activities.
  • Evaluate potential delays and implement recovery plans when necessary.
  • Monitor contractor performance for safety, quality, productivity, and compliance.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify project progress.
  • Coordinate resolution of field issues, design conflicts, and unforeseen conditions.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control processes are implemented throughout construction.
