Burnett Staffing Specialists in Houston is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Project Executive for multifamily high-rise developments. You will oversee planning, scheduling, cost management, procurement, and quality control while guiding the project team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, site visits, safety compliance, and mentoring staff to drive continuous improvement and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Project Executive with a proven track record in multifamily high-rise construction. In this leadership role, you will oversee all phases of complex residential projects—ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will guide teams, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive excellence throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Oversee all aspects of multifamily high-rise construction projects, including scheduling, cost management, procurement, and quality control. Provide leadership and direction to the project management team from planning through closeout. Ensure all work is executed in compliance with design documents, contractual requirements, and industry best practices.
Uphold the company’s mission, values, and operational standards. Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
Maintain accurate and timely project cost projections, forecasts, and financial reports. Review, approve, and manage subcontractor and supplier invoices. Support value‑engineering efforts and cost‑saving strategies without compromising quality.
Collaborate with local authorities, owners, architects, engineers, and community representatives to resolve project challenges. Participate in coordination meetings and maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders.
Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, verify quality, and ensure adherence to project schedules. Oversee safety compliance and ensure teams follow all applicable regulations and standards.
Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities to team members. Support professional growth within the project team, reinforcing high performance and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive project management experience in multifamily construction, preferably high‑rise or large‑scale residential developments. Proven ability to lead large, complex construction teams and successfully deliver multi‑phase projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and high‑rise sequencing. Expertise in project scheduling, cost accounting, budgeting, and estimating. Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and industry reporting systems.
Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Effective problem solver with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
